Contributed by Linda Lulkovich – Transition Committee Chair
The Transition Committee welcomes Roy Chamberlin. Roy and wife, Leslie, have owned property at the Village for several years and spend nine months here and the other three in the Mesa area.
Roy was an educator for thirty-seven years teaching middle school math and counseling high schoolers. He served in many leadership positions as math department chair, counseling department chair, district math coordinator, Career Ladder Executive Board and as the head negotiator for the district which included the finance committee for over 15 years.
Roy believes in giving back to his community and has volunteered in the Jaycees organization, coached volleyball for middle school through varsity levels for thirty seasons, middle school basketball (boy’s and girl’s) and sponsored student council, Lion’s Quest and Link Crew. He also enjoys pickleball, golf, Bunco and billiards. We look forward to utilizing his skills in the tasks we will perform in representing the community in our transition process.
Will we get a Transition team progress update other than Don Murray’s traffic flow update????
